Miles for Smiles 2010

Miles for Smiles Registration is now OPEN!!!

To Register pick up a registration form at the College of Medicine office or print off page 3 of the online registration information form and drop off your registration form at the College of Medicine Office (A204 Health Sciences Building, 107 Wiggins Road) by September 9th, 2010 to be assured a race shirt.

The Student Medical Society of Saskatchewan would like to announce that the College of Medicine Miles for Smiles race for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan will include a ½ Marathon in addition to the traditional 5km Run/Walk. This has been made possible thanks to support from Brainsport Athletic Ltd, MD Management, the College of Medicine, Blue Cross, Werezaks Pharmacy, the Department of Pediatrics, TD Canada Trust, Saskatchewan Medical Association, PIC Investment Group Inc, CTV, Schaan Health Care Products, Uber Performance & the Saskatoon Media Group.

The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan is a provincial charity raising awareness and funds solely for pediatric medical research, equipment, and patient care services, and the upcoming provincial Children’s Hospital. They are 100% dedicated to kids and their hospital. All funds raised stay in Saskatchewan to help sick and injured children and their families.

Race Starts at 12pm from Meewasin Park

Meewasin Park is located just off Spadina about one block South of Pinehouse at the North end of the River

$20 – 5km distance
$50 – ½ Marathon (timing chips will be provided for this distance)
